National Instructional Media Institute
A nodal agency, NIMI is a resource for teaching materials, eContent, question bank development, training for media developers and trainers. NIMI facilitates the translation of books into Hindi and other regional languages, networking with other professional groups, and professional courses. It also works in the areas of center creation, development of teaching materials and offers consultation services.
What They Wanted
To accelerate vocational training in the country through systemic curriculum development, NIMI wanted to prepare Instructional materials and question papers.
What We Did
We partnered in developing various instructional materials and question banks for multiple vocational courses for Garment and Retail based on Bloom’s Taxonomy.
Study Tour of the Indian Handloom Sector
Seeing the impact created by the handloom weaver’s community of India, countries like Tanzania and Zambia wanted to study the Indian Handloom Industry.
What They Wanted
A deep root study on the need gap analysis was needed to help them set up the handlooms in their home countries. They wanted to understand the infrastructural needs and overall development of the industry.
What We Did
We performed an on-ground study tour of handlooms and khadi industries. We also provided live demos of weaving and other processes involved in making of the handloom fabrics. We met with weavers and designers to understand the methodology. The knowledge gaps were identified through Gap Analysis, skill set required, assessment needs and impact expected in a certain tenure.
Promotion Of Handloom Products in Domestic Organized Retail
A joint Initiative by the Office of Development Commissioner (Handloom) & CMAI, this initiative was supported by well-known global brands such as Future Retail, Biba, FabIndia, Ritu Kumar, and Globus.
What They Wanted
This project was aimed at bridging the gap between the organized retail and handloom weavers.
What We Did
We arranged seminars and events like “Buyers-Sellers Meet” and met key retailers in understanding their apprehensions in dealing with handloom products and the artisans.
YUVA
Yuva Healthcare, in technical collaboration with Partners Medical International, designs nursing education programs, pedagogical principles, overall course structure and evaluation methodologies.
What They Wanted
They required Mid-term acquired skill assessments for internal quality and monitoring.
What We Did
We performed the internal skill proficiency test of students at various levels in the capacity of a third-party assessment body. We also executed a learning gap analysis and need assessment analysis.
TAPIO Creations
Tapio Creations is an India based design and sourcing company supplying to retailers across India, US and Europe.
What They Wanted
We were asked to identify skill gaps and assess their employees for various skill sets.
What We Did
We evaluated nearly 500 employees at various levels, at different job roles in a neutral environment. This enabled the company decision makers to deliberate on future training areas. We also identified skill gaps and conducted impact assessments at multiple levels.
